Actionable Core Toolkit – Governance Essentials in Practice

ACT with a steady hand.

Turn regulatory governance essentials into practical assessment and action.

ACT is the practical companion to the GSR-26 Best Practice Guidelines. Assess what is implemented or not implemented across seven Essential Primers, analyse gaps, sequence a roadmap, and manage an action plan — for national teams or a local self-assessment.

About the Framework

From the GSR-26 Guidelines to ACT

GSR-26 Best Practice Guidelines ‘Regulatory Governance Essentials: The new core kit regulators need to make digital markets deliver’ global multi-stakeholder consultation

The GSR-26 Best Practice Guidelines ‘Regulatory Governance Essentials: The new core kit regulators need to make digital markets deliver’ were developed through a global multi-stakeholder consultation on the core governance capabilities regulators need to make digital markets deliver. More than 50 contributions from regulators, industry, international organizations, academia and other experts brought together practical experience from different markets and institutional settings. The resulting Guidelines, endorsed by the GSR-26 Heads of Regulators, identify seven regulatory governance essentials that provide a focused baseline for strategic, evidence-based, proportionate, adaptive and coherent regulation.
